The Scooby Recovery team, lead by Jim "Boomer" Bloomberg, has completed the disassembly of the Bronco Associations QF-4S Phantom (153821) at NAS Point Mugu, CA. The first truckload of parts including the fuselage is scheduled to be back in Fort Worth on January 28th. Arrangements to recover the wing are proceeding.

Look for more information later this week on work parties we will need to start the process of putting her back together.

A big OUTSTANDING goes out to Mike Dean, Craig Kaston, Dean Demmery, Brian Hicks, Dan Lamantagne as well as BOD Director Tom "Scooter" Skutca for their work. Also many thanks to the NAS Point Mugu US NAVY personnel and Base civilians who had a part in the process. Last, but not least, thanks to Jim Curry and Helen Watson at the National Museum of Naval Aviation for giving the OBA a chance to perform through their loan of the Phantom.

Semper Fi!

Chuck "IGOR" Burin
Bronco Association Chairman of the Board
