Farewell, Hostage HOTEL
LtGen Norman Ehlert

It is with sadness that Chuck Burin (Hostage IGOR) reports that LtGen Norman E. Ehlert (Hostage HOTEL), USMC (Ret) passed away September 23, 2002. Norm was a UH-1E pilot on his first tour in RVN and flew UH-1s, AH-1Gs and OV-10s on his second. Both tours were with VMO-2, with some time spent with VMO-5 as well. There will be a full honors ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on 9 October 2002 at 0900. Maj. Chuck Ehlert, son of LtGen Ehlert, is the point of contact for the family and can be reached at (760) 415-4349. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to:
