The Board of Directors of the OV-10 Bronco Association is pleased to announce plans for expansion into a new museum facility. Plans are being made to move within our present location at the Vintage Flying Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. We quickly outgrew our present location and need to expand. The new location will be approximately 1,200 square feet. Although preliminary planning is taking place at present, we intend to have separate displays for past and present OV-10 operators, as well as library and presentation capabilities. The space will be utilized as a display area and multimedia presentation space in the design of a ready room.
The Vintage Flying Museum is nationally and internationally known for its adult and children's aviation educational programs. This will give them the capability of presenting programs in a quieter and more comfortable setting designed for presentation.
Along with this change to OBA, you will soon be seeing many other improvements and an expansion of offerings to you and the general public. The Bronco Flyer newsletter will be published online as well as in paper format. The Bronco PX will be undergoing big changes to offer you quicker and easier ordering of an expanded line of OV-10 and aviation related products.
If you are in the DFW area and would like to get involved, give us a call at (800) 575-0535. We are going to need people familiar or willing to help hang walls, do electrical work, your basic remodeling-type things.
This new facility will allow us to better display our ever-growing collection. This will be our fourth move in four years. This one should last awhile.
